It turns out Ronni Chasen, the beloved Hollywood publicist who was gunned down in a shocking Beverly Hills murder, left behind a will and had an estate estimated to be worth $6.1 million.

A possible motive? It's not clear. Beverly Hills police have tighter lips than a closeted Scientologist.

Word of the will came this afternoon from (of course) TMZ (via Weho Daily), which stated that she intended to give Hollywood memorabilia to her children, tens of thousands of dollars to charity, and $10 to a niece she apparently didn't like too much. But …

… It appears that Chasen had another will drawn up in 2006. And nobody seems to be able to find it.

The plot thickens.

In fact, the first will left most of her estate to dear old mom. Who subsequently died. That would explain the new document.

But where is it?

Possibly a safety deposit box.

On Wednesday police staking out a “person of interest” in her Nov. 16 homicide came across the man at a Hollywood apartment building. He fatally shot himself. A neighbor told reporters the man bragged about having killed Chasen.
