Louis Woo Lee was charged on June 8 with murder and assault with a firearm for the slaying of an Anaheim Hills man at a local Korea Town Karaoke Bar.

Michael Kim, 36, was shot in the head outside M2 Café & Karaoke Bar at 4001 West 6th Street around 2:10 am on June 7 after allegedly being involved in a heated fracas with 22-year-old Lee inside the club. A friend of Kim's suffered a graze wound to his head but is expected to live.

A Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner ordered Lee held on $2.05 million bail and to return to court July 8 for arraignment. If convicted, Lee faces a potential maximum term of life in prison with the possibility of parole.
