A man fatally stabbed on Dec 30 around 2 a.m. was identified as 26-year-old Juan Ventura Ola. The incident occurred near 59th Street and Vermont Avenue. The suspect was identified as 52-year-old Auriello Ramirez.

The two men were having an argument outside a South Los Angeles restaurant parking lot. During the argument, Ramirez pulled out a sharp object and stabbed Ola multiple times in the chest, said LAPD Officer Gregory Baek. The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Ramirez was tracked to his home located in the 900 block of West 59th Street around 3:30 p.m. yesterday, said Detective Tiffany Tingirides of LAPD 77th Station. He was arrested and booked on suspicion of murder at LAPD 77th Division Jail. Ramirez's bail was set for $1 million.
