A man was shot to death and three other men were injured in a suspected drive-by shooting at 8 p.m. on June 2.

According to preliminary police reports, an African American gunman, who was driving a black vehicle, drove up to four African American men in their 30's. The shooter fired multiple rounds striking three of the men in the legs. The fourth man, 19-year-old Marquis Jackson, was shot in the chest. He died two hours later at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. The incident occurred on the street in the 300 block of East 101st Street.
