It was another brutal night in Los Angeles. A man was killed at 1:24 a.m. today as he was sitting with two friends in a red car in the parking lot of Johnny's Pastrami at 4331 West Adams Boulevard. According to the police, an assailant approached the passenger side of the vehicle and opened fire on 30-year-old Anthony Cage, who took multiple hits to his upper body.

A female companion was also wounded in the suspected drive-by shooting. The motive for the June 2 slaying is a mystery but police suspect it may be gang related.
