Two men were gunned down today near the Los Angeles County Cemetery in Boyle Heights.

The June 15 shooting happened early Monday morning at 3:15 a.m. at the corner of Lorena and East First streets. The Los Angeles Police Department is looking for the suspected gunman responsible for the shooting deaths.

The police were notified by a 911 call from an unknown citizen who had heard the early morning shots, said Officer Gregory Daek. The unidentified Hispanic male victims, who were described to be between 35 and 40 years old, were found dead on the street.

Detectives are probing possible motives for the killings.
