Marcas Fisher, 36, is wanted for questioning. Officers found the dead boy's body “with unexplained injuries” in a residence on the 800 block of East 87th Place about 6:30 p.m., Thursday. The boy was the only one in the house. According to police, Fisher was the boy's last known caretaker, but was not at the scene when the paramedics and officers arrived.

Police have not released the name of the victim, but ABC7 identified the boy as Dae'von Bailey. Channel 7 also reported that the boy's relatives believe he was beaten by Fisher.

The boy and his family moved into the neighborhood just two months ago. He was described by family members as a good kid who loved to play outside.
