The Los Angeles Police Department is trying to locate the killer or killers who shot 27-year-old Luis Pozos in the Mid-City area of Los Angeles today.

According to police, Pozos was found lying on a curb next to his car on South Longwood Avenue just north of St. Elmo Drive around 1:30 a.m., on Thursday morning. It appeared that Pozos was parking his car when the shooter or shooters shot him several times. Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. Police are unclear of the motive behind the brutal July 23 attack. Anyone with information should contact Wilshire detectives at (213) 473-0446.
