News is slowly trickling in about the shooting death of a Hollywood teen on June 19.

According to preliminary police reports, Gabriel Banos Arcos, 17, was shot as he was waiting at a bus stop with friends in the 6200 block of Santa Monica Boulevard near Vine Street. The shooter walked up to him and shot him for no apparent reason at 1:30 p.m. The shooter was described as a male Hispanic with a shaved head, around 5 feet 9, between the ages of 16 to 18, and wearing a blue over-sized shirt. An ambulance transported the victim to a local hospital where he died. Detectives suspect the shooting is gang-related but the motive has not yet been determined.
