Two men were shot, and one died, after a heated fracas inside a Koreatown Karaoke bar on June 7.
According to police reports, the shooting at M2 Cafe & Karaoke Bar at 4001 W. Sixth Street, occurred about 2:10 a.m., Sunday, after 37-year-old Michael Kim and another man got involved in a dispute with the shooter. As the two men walked outside of the bar, the gunman, described as a Korean, fired at the pair before driving off in a black car.
Both men were rushed to a local hospital where Kim was pronounced dead. The other victim was listed in stable condition with a graze wound to his head.
The shooter, identified as 22-year-old Louis Lee of Rowland Hills, was arrested later that night.
