Vehicle Accident on Ridgecrest Road Left Several Injured, One Airlifted

VICTORVILLE, CA (August 2, 2022) – On Wednesday, a traffic crash on Bear Valley Road left several people injured, authorities said.

According to the police, the collision happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Ridgecrest Road.

Furthermore, investigators said a red Dodge Charger with three people inside collided with a gray Jeep Liberty were occupied by one person.

Eventually, Victorville City firefighters arrived at the scene and reported at least four patients in need of medical assistance to nearby hospitals.

In addition, emergency personnel also requested a helicopter to airlift one of the injured patients to a trauma center.

Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, but have since reopened.

The Victorville Police Department continues to investigate the crash on Bear Valley Road.
