Road Closed after Big-Rig Collision on I-90 in Seattle

SEATTLE, WA (November 1, 2021) A multi-car crash on Interstate 90 involving a semi truck resulted in road closure on Wednesday.

The incident occurred shortly before 3:00 a.m., on the westbound lanes of the freeway. First responders arrived to the scene shortly after.

According to the WSP, a semi-truck collided with a concrete Jersey barrier, rolled and pushed it into the eastbound lanes, causing three additional cars to collide with the barrier and each other.

Responding officers arrived at the scene and found multiple victims suffering from minor injuries.

At this time, it is unknown whether speed, drugs, or alcohol played a role in the crash. However, an active investigation is underway.
