Pedestrian Struck and Killed While Crossing near Yarmouth Avenue
NORTHRIDGE, CA (October 26, 2022) – Sunday evening, a pedestrian accident on Roscoe Boulevard claimed the life of Muhammad Binissa.
The deadly collision happened around 7:45 p.m., near Yarmouth Avenue.
According to reports, the driver of a vehicle struck the pedestrian who was crossing outside of a marked crosswalk.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office later identified the deceased victim as 68-year-old Binissa, of Granada Hills.
Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
At this time, Northridge Officials are still working to determine further circumstances surrounding the fatal pedestrian crash.
