Some things bear repeating — especially when they're funked up to resemble a modern beat music take on Parliament's timeless space-groove.

It's no secret that L.A. residents Dudley Perkins and Georgia Anne Muldrow are descendents of the P-Funk tradition.

Still, it may have taken a pair of producers from Senegal and Sweden to boost these two above the purple haze and into the stratosphere proper.

“Mothership” originally appeared on 2009's The Repeat Factor, an album by the Germany-based Senegalese beat-maker Portformat.

Well, that fine LP is getting a repeat performance in the form of The Repeat Factor Remixes, which features a spate of up-and-coming European producers, including Stockholm's Opolopo.

With their considerable powers combined, these four present a force to be reckoned with.
