Tomorrow, the good folks of the Aquarium Drunkard blog will release L'Aventure, a full-album cover of Television's landmark 1978 LP, Adventure featuring all L.A. bands.
Local indie stalwarts like the Happy Hollows and the Henry Clay People make appearances, as do buzzing up-and-comers like Local Natives.
And like A.D.'s 2009 Paul McCartney tribute, RAM on L.A., all proceeds of the “suggested-donation digital release” go to charity — in this case, the Silverlake Conservatory of Music.
The Drunkard was kind enough to share a particularly great contribution from Foreign Born, who cover “Days,” also known as song two on the original.
