On Thursday, Mozza fans are invited backstage for a cooking class with Nancy Silverton and executive chef Matt Molina. The class is one of the first in their Scuola di Pizza, a series of cooking classes which will run regularly after the first of the year.

What's on the menu? An Umbrian-tinged Thanksgiving feast including panzanella with dried cranberries and bitter greens, tacchino alla porchetta, brussel sprouts with prosciutto breadcrumbs, pumpkin and date crostata. The workshop runs from 7-10 pm, and only twelve seats are available at a cost of $150 per person. Any way you slice it, probably the tastiest dinner party in Los Angeles on Thursday night.
