Brian Banks tells the true story of a college linebacker (Aldis Hodge) sentenced to eleven years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. He is mentored from inside his jail cell by Morgan Freeman (uncredited) while his lawyer (Greg Kinnear) fights the good fight to clear his name. The real Banks eventually signed with the Atlanta Falcons in 2013. Tom Shadyac directed this inspirational drama from a screenplay by Doug Atchison. Opening wide.
