Driven is the second film this summer to unpack the legacy of automotive exec John DeLorean. Fashioned as a bromance between the millionaire engineer (Lee Pace) and ex-con Jim Hoffman (Jason Sudeikis), the film dramatizes the downfall of the DeLorean Motor Company after its owner turned to illicit activities in order to recoup some enormous investment costs. The film, directed by Nick Hamm from a screenplay by Colin Bateman and Alejandro Carpio, played at Venice and Toronto.
