American Factory is a Netflix original documentary that shows what happens when a Chinese billionaire reopens a new General Motors plant in a struggling Ohio town and staffs it with 2,000 blue-collar Americans. Steven Bognar and Julia Reichert picked up a directing award at Sundance earlier this year for this absorbing look at a historic economic project in which high-tech China and working-class America collide.
