62-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Pickup Truck Collision on Borden Road

SAN MARCOS, CA (January 26, 2022) – A 62-year-old motorcyclist died Monday after a two-vehicle crash on Borden Road.

According to San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened 11 a.m. on January 24th.

It involved a man whose motorcycle crashed into a Chevrolet Colorado at Mulberry Drive while traveling westbound on Borden Road.

Paramedics took the motorcyclist, whose name has been withheld from reports pending notification of kin, to Palomar Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, the 31-year-old man driving the truck was not injured.

Both directions of the roadway were shutdown for an unknown amount of time to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

At this time, circumstances regarding the two-vehicle crash on Borden Road remain unclear.
