Four Vehicle Crash on Highway 1 Left One Fatality

SANTA MARIA, CA (October 14, 2021) Police are investigating a fatal multi-vehicle crash on Highway 1 left motorcyclist killed, police said.

The deadly incident occurred before 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Brown Road and Highway 1 in Santa Maria.

Moreover, emergency crews responded and performed life-saving measures at the scene. However, the victim succumbed to their injuries shortly after.

Upon arrival, officers declared a motorcyclist dead at the scene and reported several other people with minor injuries.

However, the total number of casualties involved is currently unknown at this time.

Furthermore, both lanes of the roadway were closed for an extended period of time for cleanup and preliminary investigation.

At this time, the circumstances surrounding the Highway 1 multi-vehicle crash remain unclear.
