Motorcycle Collision on South Kinney Road Kills 49-Year-Old Man

TUCSON, AZ (November 2, 2021) – Friday morning, a 49-year old motorcyclist was pronounced dead after a crash on South Kinney Road.

Officials say the man drove off the side of the roadway and collided with a concrete raised curb.

Due to the impact, he was ejected onto the roadway. He was later pronounced dead at the scene due to the extent of his injuries.

The motorcyclist was heading westbound on State Route 86 and the accident happened near South Kinney Road and West Ajo Highway just after midnight.

Furthermore, the roadway was closed while the crash was being investigated. It was re-opened by 8 a.m. Additionally the troopers are still working on the investigation to find out the cause of the collision.
