Rider Dead after Motorcycle Accident on Santa Monica Boulevard

EAST HOLLYWOOD, CA (July 22, 2022) – Early Saturday evening, a motorcyclist was ejected and killed in a collision on North Virgil Avenue.

Los Angeles Police responded to the scene around 5:00 p.m., near Santa Monica Boulevard on July 9th.

For reasons under investigation, a motorcycle and vehicle collided near the intersection. Medics arrived shortly after and pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area on Santa Monica Boulevard for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.

Additionally, authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved in the deadly collision. However, an active investigation to determine further details is still currently ongoing.

Once available, further details will be provided about the fatal collision on North Virgil Avenue.
