Rider Dies after Colliding with Pickup Truck on Lake Mead Boulevard

LAS VEGAS, NV (August 25, 2023) – Early Tuesday morning, police responded to a truck collision on Arnona Road that left one person dead. The incident happened on August 15th, just before 1:30 a.m., involving a Chevrolet pickup truck and a Yamaha motorcycle. According to reports, the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Lake Mead Boulevard, when the Chevy made a dangerous U-turn. As a result, the Chevy turned into the path of the motorcyclist, and the rider was ejected from the Yamaha. First responders at the site of the collision pronounced the rider dead at the scene due to the extent of his injuries. The occupants of the Chevy did not suffer any injuries. At this time, the rider’s identity has not yet been released by the Clark County Coroner Office.
