Rider Pronounced Dead after Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Woodruff Lane

MARYSVILLE, CA (May 25, 2022) – Friday morning, one rider was pronounced dead after a motorcycle accident on Matthews Lane.

The incident happened just north of Woodruff Lane. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls.

Per reports, the motorcycle rider was traveling south on Matthews near Woodruff. For reasons unknown, he veered into the northbound lane directly in front of an oncoming Dodge truck.

As a result, the two vehicles collided head-on, ejecting the motorcyclist onto the road. Eventually, first responders arrived at the scene and pronounced the rider dead, due to the extent of injuries sustained.

Moreover, Marysville Police Officers ruled out alcohol or drugs as potential factors. Although, an active investigation is ongoing.
