One Hospitalized after Traffic Collision on Palmdale Road

VICTORVILLE, CA (August 18, 2021) – A motorcyclist was airlifted after a traffic collision on Palmdale Road in Victorville on Saturday.

The incident occurred around 5:08 p.m. on August 14th along Palmdale Road near San Martin Road.

According to the CHP, the accident involved a black motorcycle and a white pickup truck hauling a small U-haul box trailer, though the primary cause of the crash is currently unknown.

Firefighters responded and requested that a helicopter land on scene to airlift the rider to a nearby trauma center.

Deputies also closed down a section of Palmdale Road between Amethyst and El Evado Roads while the helicopter landed.

At this time, officials have not released the names of the injured parties or their current conditions. However, this crash remains under investigation.
