Algabar Home & Life shop and the Coolhaus ice cream sandwich/architecture fandom truck bring more fine tastes together in August and September. On select evenings starting tonight at 8-9:00 p.m., Coolhaus's silver and pink happy machine will park on La Brea and serve Algabar's Maison Matcha and Double Happiness Earl Grey teas in new form. Check the Twitter feeds (@Coolhaus @LAteaGIRL) for extra info about passwords, discounts, secret flavors and such.

Coolhaus co-owner Freya Esteller notes that tonight is actually “a triple dessert collaboration,” since Algabar is providing the teas and MILK is making the ice cream, with the final product assembly in Coolhaus's hands. For the past couple of weeks, the Coolhaus Lambrusco and Dirty Mint ice creams have been coming from MILK's kitchen. “We're all in it together,” Esteller says.

As far as Coolhaus's signature architectural punny sandwich names are concerned, may we suggest the patently obvious Greene & Greene Tea? And while a little more obscure, how about Elmer Grey Tea for the other combo?
