There are so many things we love: food, not wearing pants, our couch, and not having to leave the house unless we want to. With all these loves in mind, Postmates is technically the best relationship we’ve ever been in. They listen to our needs, adapt to meet our wants, and are always there when we need them. And we mean always.

You see, we don’t always want food. Sometimes we want (read: need) toilet paper, dish soap, Advil, cold medicine, sometimes even firewood. All the essential and convenience items you could ever need.

Which is why Postmates has introduced two new categories: Essentials, and Convenience

Now when you’re looking for items like toothpaste, contact solution, nail polish remover, or Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, you can order by item—as if you were walking through the aisles of your favorite stores. These new categories can be found at the top of the app.

Essentials, powered by Walgreens, features everyday items like allergy medicine, bath and body needs, as well as paper products.

Convenience is a digital convenience store powered by 7-Eleven. Get Gatorade, chips, candy, Slurpees, and anything else you crave delivered from your local 7-Eleven.

Postmates has brought the Essentials and Convenience stores front and center in the app so that you don’t have to figure out which Walgreens or 7-Eleven is closest to you—theydo it for you.

Postmates power these new item-forward storefronts using the nearest location to you, now active in all cities that have Walgreens/Duane Reade and 7-Eleven locations. Place your order on the Postmates app and as well as online in their Essentials and Convenience menus.

The new Essentials and Convenience categories are the easiest way to get whatever you need, whenever you need it.
