The list of restaurants celebrating Halloween keeps growing. But hey, why not, it's a lot more fun to celebrate this holiday than a lot of those that are coming up. (A staid turkey dinner or fake blood cocktails, which would you pick?) In the spirit of the latter, Provecho is hosting a Halloween dinner on Saturday night, which will include three courses, a glass of Veuve Cliquot, which is sponsoring the event, a costume contest and screenings of classic horror movies (Army of Darkness, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre). The winner of the contest gets a magnum of Veuve Clicquot. On the menu: a trio of ceviche; pork al pastor; tequila-marinated chicken with grilled poblanos; churros and cajeta. For more details, contact the restaurant. For a costume, you're on your own.

Provecho: 800 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles; (213) 489-1406. Reservations recommended.
