The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills is offering a special “Pink Tea” throughout October to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The $55 tea service, with seatings at noon, 2:30 and 5 p.m. daily in the Living Room, will feature a special five-course menu, including fresh strawberries and whipped cream, savory caviar cake, sandwiches, pastries, scones, a selection of teas and a glass of Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Rose Champagne (appropriately pink).

Customers will also get a Peninsula “cap cake” packaged to take home and a $50 Tory Burch gift card. (The cap cakes are an homage to the white silk pillbox caps worn by Peninsula Hotel pageboys since they were introduced in the 1920s at the Peninsula Hong Kong.) A portion of the proceeds from the tea will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

The hotel also will feature special pink decor as well as “Pink Ribbon” promotions including room and spa packages, parties, teas and dinners throughout the month, with a percentage of the proceeds going directly to breast cancer-related charities.

The Peninsula Hotel: 9882 S. Santa Monica Blvd., Beverly Hills; (310) 975-2736 (tea reservations).
