There’s no rest for the wicked when it comes to Halloween happenings, even if it is still a week away, and on a Friday, no less. Break in the scary/slutty costume or just your dancing shoes at these Saturday-night fienders. Go Ventures gets a head start on the city’s other gargantuan ghoul-fests with its 11th annual Monster Massive, the electronic-music charged event with menacing theme rooms and masterful DJs galore (Paul Van Dyk, Steve Lawler, Judge Jules, Pete Tong, Felix Da Housecat, LTJ Bukem and many more). Prepare to be a real zombie after this one. Los Angeles Sports Arena, 3939 S. Figueroa St., dwntwn. See www.monstermassive.com for tix and info.… A more intimate but no less spooktacular scene is sure to possess Club Suicide’s soiree, where admission is free with full costume all night, and by “full,” we’re sure they mean head-to-toe freaky or half-naked and naughty. DJ Amanda Jones and Robert Lockerby provide electro and ’80s sounds for your grinding pleasure, and Suicide Girl go-go gals and SG burlesque performer Nixon (who, let’s face it, don’t need an excuse like the rest of us to dress like harlots) provide the visual tricks and treats. Echoplex, 1154 Glendale Blvd., Echo Park. www.myspace.com/clubsuicide. And finally Bar Sinister, the city’s most authentic night of dark delights, offers the perfect ambiance for this time of year, and this week, former Christian Death member Gitane Demone and writer/performer Dame Darcy’s stage offerings should make for an especially spine-tingling good time. Boardner’s, 1652 N. Cherokee Ave., Hollywood. www.boardners.com. All clubs, Sat., Oct. 25.
