OMG, it's Biebs and his heart-shaped gondola!

Can Justin Bieber's music actually destroy your hearing?

A Portland, Oregon, mom claims that it's done just that — filing a lawsuit yesterday alleging that she suffered “hearing loss, severe tinnitus and hyperacusis” in both ears after enduring a July 2010 performance by the L.A.-based pop star. She's asking for $9.23 million.

And it's not just screaming fans being blamed by concert-chaperone/wannabe-cool mom Stacey Alexandra Wilson Betts. It was a “heart-shaped gondola,” shown in the video above: Although it looks pleasant enough, Betts alleges that this mechanism served as “a sound conductor creating a sound blast” that went right into her ears.

(Seriously, Bieber shrieking past one's head in a heart-shaped gondola? It's like something from the mind of a madman, like the poor crazy who claims Khloe Kardashian Tasered him whilst riding the Tower of Terror at Disneyland.)

Betts, the alleged victim, filed the lawsuit pro se, which usually means no lawyer would touch the thing.

Per the suit,

Justin Bieber climbed into a heart-shaped, aluminum/steel gondola and was pulled out over the crowd. Mr. Bieber created a wave-like effect of screaming by pointing into various sections of the arena. Then enticed the crowd into a frenzy of screams by continuously waving his arms in a quick and upward motion, [at which point] I was struck with a sound blast.

Opines Ms. Betts:

“The gondola that Justin Bieber was suspended in acted as a sound conductor creating a sound blast that permanently damaged both my ears.”

We're not sure we buy this one. If Betts had any chance of winning $9.23 million, trust us, some lawyer somewhere would have taken the case.

But what the hell: Poor lady endured a Justin Bieber concert. And, again, he apparently swung right over her head in a heart-shaped gondola.

We definitely feel her pain.
