30-Year-Old Woman Dead after Big-Rig Collision near Doolittle Drive

SAN LEANDRO, CA (June 3, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, Misti Peterson was killed and other was hurt in a semi-truck crash on Eden Road.

Just after 4:00 p.m., police responded to the scene near Doolittle Drive.

According to reports, a black 2-door Honda Civic struck a red tractor-trailer. However, the circumstances leading up to the collision remain unclear.

The Honda’s driver was identified as 30-year-old Peterson. Medical personnel found her unresponsive and pronounced her dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, medics transported her male passenger to a nearby hospital with non life-threatening injuries. In addition, the truck driver was not injured and he stayed at the scene to cooperate.
