Several Hurt in Three-Vehicle Collision on Norris Road

BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 24, 2022) – Authorities said a multi-car crash on Ray Street resulted in minor injuries, Monday afternoon.

The collision happened around 4:00 p.m., in the area of Ray Street and Norris Road.

According to reports, a sedan and a van collided for unknown reasons, and another black SUV was later reported to be involved in the crash.

Furthermore, the impact of the collision flipped the van over, before landing on its roof in the yard of a nearby resident.

Crews closed the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before they later reopened the road to traffic.

First responders reported only minor injuries but did not release the names or descriptions of the vehicles involved in the accident. An active investigation is currently underway and officials will release updates once available.
