Oroville 3-Vehicle Crash Prompted Road Closure

OROVILLE, CA (October 15, 2021) – Officials are investigating a 3-Vehicle Crash that left Miners Ranch Road blocked last Wednesday.

The incident happened around 2 p.m. at the intersection of Miners Ranch Road and Mt. Ida Road.

According to the investigators, a pickup truck driver going southbound did not see a vehicle stopped to make a left turn.

Subsequently, the pickup rear ended the sedan and pushed it into a vehicle travelling northbound.

According to the California Highway Patrol, nobody received major injuries from the crash.

In addition, the Cal Fire Butte County shared photos of two trucks and a car involved in the collision.

The truck overturned into the roadway and while the car suffered major front and rear-end damages.

However, the third truck appeared to have suffered less damage and was upright on the shoulder of the roadway.

At this time, Oroville officials are continuing to investigate the 3-vehicle crash.
