19-Year-Old Woman Dead after Crash into Power Pole near Highway 33

FRESNO COUNTY, CA (August 12, 2022) – Sunday morning, Milagros Mendoza after crashing her car into a power pole on Bullard Avenue.

The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m., near the intersection of Bullard Avenue and San Diego Avenue, west of Highway 33.

Investigators said Mendoza was driving along Bullard Avenue when, for reasons currently unclear, she crashed into a pole. The impact of the collision left her with serious injuries. Due to the extent of her condition, emergency responders were unable to save her, they pronounced 19-year-old Mendoza dead.

At this time, Fresno County officials are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal car accident.
