33-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Fatal Collision on Perris Avenue

MORENO VALLEY, CA (July 25, 2022) – Tuesday, Mikela Lang was killed, and Byron Saucedo was arrested after a DUI crash on Filaree Avenue.

Police responded to the scene around 6:40 p.m., near Perris Avenue.

According to reports, an eastbound 2010 Nissan Altima struck a 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650. Investigators say the Nissan was driven by 23-year-old Saucedo, and Lang was riding the motorcycle.

Upon impact, Saucedo exited his vehicle and attempted to flee the scene on foot. However, witnesses were able to restrain him until authorities arrived.

Meanwhile, medics pronounced 33-year-old Lang, of Moreno Valley dead at the scene.

Following preliminary duties, officers later arrested Byron Alexa Cifuentes Saucedo for suspicion of DUI with gross vehicular manslaughter and hit-and-run.
