13-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized after Pedestrian Crash near Arroyo Sierra Circle

SANTA ROSA, CA (February 27, 2023) – Thursday morning, a 13-year-old boy was hospitalized after a pedestrian collision on Hoen Avenue.

The incident occurred around 8:39 a.m., near Arroyo Sierra Circle on January 19th.

Per reports, the young boy was crossing the intersection when the driver of an eastbound white Honda Civic struck him.

Paramedics arrived and transported the boy to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital with serious injuries. In addition, investigators say the involved driver, a Santa Rosa man in his 30s, stopped to assist the victim and cooperated with the authorities.

Following preliminary duties, officials did not consider drugs or alcohol to be a factor in the accident. However, an investigation into the pedestrian collision on Hoen Avenue is currently underway.
