Woman Killed in Scooter Hit-and-Run Crash on Foothill Boulevard

OAKLAND, CA (November 8, 2021) Michelle Marbley, 54, tragically died in a hit-and-run accident on Foothill Boulevard on Friday night.

The incident occurred at 10:05 p.m. in the 2300 block of Foothill Boulevard on  the 29th of October.

According to reports, the driver of the vehicle driving on the wrong side of Foothill Boulevard and ran a red light at 23rd Avenue collided with Marbley, who was driving north on 23rd Avenue on a green light.

Paramedics performed life-saving attempts but unfortunately declared Marbley dead at the scene due to severe head injuries.

Police are now searching for the driver and the car, described as a four-door gray sedan.

Oakland Police ask anyone who witnessed the crash to call the them at their local office.

An active investigation remains ongoing into the fatal accident.
