Hit-and-Run Driver Micheal Maurice Moore Causes Major Injuries

LOMPOC, CA (October 26, 2021) – Police arrested Micheal Maurice Moore after a hit-and-run crash on Pine Avenue Tuesday evening.

Officers responded to the incident shortly before 7:00 p.m., at the 100 block of East Pine Avenue.

Upon arrival, responders located the injured pedestrian and airlifted him to a hospital with serious injuries.

Furthermore, the investigators determined that the suspect fled the scene after the collision and turned northbound onto North H Street.

Eventually, the officers located the hit-and-run suspect after searching surveillance camera footage.

Lompoc Officials identified the suspect as 51-year-old Micheal Maurice Moore.

Afterwards, authorities booked Moored to Santa Barbara County Jail for felony hit-and-run and other related charges.
