Truck vs Motorcycle Accident on South Watt Left One Fatality

ROSEMONT, CA (April 14, 2022) – A motorcycle crash on Manlove Road claimed the life of Michael Robert Weddle Friday morning.

According to reports, the Sacramento Metro Fire responded to the intersection of Manlove and South Watt.

Despite life-saving efforts, the Metro Fire declared the motorcycle rider dead at the scene. On Saturday, the Sacramento County Coroner identified the victim as 58-year-old Michael Weddle.

Both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, Rosemont Officials are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
