41-Year-Old Motorist Died in Deadly Accident in Silver Springs

CARSON, NV (November 8, 2021) – Thursday night, October 28, Michael Lawson, 41, has died in a deadly collision in Silver Springs.

The crash took place just after 7:15 p.m. on East Fir Avenue, east of Nectarine Street.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, Lawson was driving a 2007 Suzuki heading west and he was behind a 2002 Honda motorcycle.

However, Lawson struck the rear of the Honda causing both motorcycles to overturn. Both of them were thrown to the roadway.

As per NHP, impairment was believed to be a contributing factor in the crash.

The fatal collision is still under investigation.
