Four Pronounced Dead after Head-On Collision near La Grange Road

TUOLUMNE COUNTY (June 10, 2024) Michael Keith, Donna Yarnal, Cindi Schucterman and Janelle Hall died Friday night in a car crash on Bonds Flat Road.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:00 p.m., near La Grange Road.

Per reports, the driver of a northbound Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck crossed over the double-yellow lines while attempting to pass another vehicle. This maneuver led to a collision with a southbound Toyota Highlander on the same roadway.

Responding medics pronounced the three occupants of the pickup truck, as well as the driver of the Highlander, dead at the scene.

Officials later identified the victims as 56-year-old Michael Keith of Stockton. His two passengers were identified as 66-year-old Donna Yarnal of Modesto and 65-year-old Cindi Schucterman of Salida.

Crews also identified the driver of the Highlander, as 33-year-old Janelle Hall of La Grange. The loved ones of Hall set up a GoFundMe page to help with costs during this difficult time.
