Deadly Accident on Interstate Highway 80 Kills Michael Bernardo and Keandre Allums

BERKELEY, CA (September 14, 2021) Michael Bernardo and Keandre Allums died tragically Sunday morning after a vehicle collision on Highway 80.

The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate Highway 80, west of University Avenue.

According to reports, both Bernardo and Allums were involved in a collision, and decided to get off of their vehicles, along with a female passenger riding in one of the cars to argue on the road.

Subsequently, a mini cooper who tried to avoid the initial wreck, hit both men who were standing in the roadway.

Responding officers arrived and declared both men dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, medics rushed the female passenger to a nearby hospital.

The driver of the mini cooper, still unnamed, remained and cooperated with the authorities.

At this time, it is unknown whether the crash was caused by speed, drugs, or alcohol. However, an active investigation is underway.
