DUI Driver on Carver Road Arrested after Causing Major Injuries

MODESTO, CA (February 3 2022) – Police arrested Michael Amie after a DUI crash on Carver Road early Sunday morning.

According to the authorities, the collision occurred around 12:30 a.m., when a northbound vehicle ran past a red light at Briggsmore Avenue.

As a result, the driver collided with an eastbound Nissan Maxima. Eventually, paramedics arrived and transported the 69-year-old Nissan driver and 35-year-old female passenger of Amie’s Camaro to a hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, Modesto Officials arrested 47-year-old Michael Amie for driving under the influence. At this time, authorities continue to investigate the drunk driving incident.
