Two Adults and Four Children Hurt in Car Crash on Monte Vista Avenue

MONTCLAIR, CA (September 6, 2023) – Sunday night, Micah Mageno was arrested and multiple were hurt in a pursuit collision on Kingsley Street.

Officers responded to the scene around 8:26 p.m., near Monte Vista Avenue.

Per reports, police attempted to perform a traffic stop on a driver who was traveling recklessly in the area. However, the driver failed to comply, resulting in a short police chase.

The pursuit came to an end when the suspect crashed into two other vehicles at the intersection of Kingsley Street and Monte Vista Avenue. Upon impact, multiple people were ejected from their vehicle onto the road.

Paramedics arrived and transported two adults and four juveniles to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile, police arrested the suspect, 19-year-old Micah Mageno, of Rancho Cucamonga. Officers charged him with suspicion of evading police, causing bodily injuries, and child endangerment.
