A few months back we announced the debut performance of Linda Perhacs at REDCAT in October as part of Dublab's tenth anniversary celebration. We have more details on what should be a magical evening of folk.

Perhacs, if you don't know, released a single transcendent album in 1970s, one that slowly blossomed over the intervening 40 years to become a crate-digger's classic. While living in Topanga, she recorded Parallelograms, an ethereal mix of folk and tape manipulation that sounds as fresh now as it sounded odd and confusing back in the day.

After she recorded the album, Perhacs stopped recording music, and never played it live. She will do so on October 7 at REDCAT, and will be joined by a who's who of LA underground folk and rock. Details after the jump …
