Singer/performer Crissy Guerrero has long attached herself to some amazing projects: Andy Prieboy's genius music comedy White Trash Wins Lotto, Eban Schletter's The Witching Hour — plus she's one of El Vez's El Vettes for chrissakes! For C & C's Christmas With a Twist, Guerrero and Claudia Dolph have have assembled an intriguing lineup for a “twisted take on Christmas cheer.” Among the musicians, singers, magicians and funny people are Ron Snyder, Jack Mc Gee, Tracy DeNisi, Dave Cox, Felix Pire, Eban Schletter, Chris Duva, Suzanne Weber, Kristian Hoffman, Hot Toddy Tipsies with Alina Foley. Guerrero tell us, “We did our best to find songs that aren't heard very often — or, at all, ranging from Tom Waits to John Denver. And, those that are more traditional, we are fucking … er … messing with in some way. On top of that, we have puppeteer Felix Pire & Los Titeres, magician Dave Cox, Eban on Theremin, Kristian Hoffman's sardonic brand of Christmas pop and even a child for good measure. Oh, and a Wookie.” The Hollywood Studio Bar and Grill, 6122 Sunset Blvd.; Sun., Dec. 2, 7 p.m.; $18, $10 in advance, plus two-item min.; www.brownpapertickets.com/event/296596
