31-Year-Old Melviyon Drew Struck by Motorcycle near Bakersfield Gas Station

BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 11, 2021) – Monday night on January 26, Melviyon Drew, 31, died days after a pedestrian collision in the vicinity of 23rd and L streets in downtown Bakersfield.

The incident occurred around 6:55 p.m. at 1300 block of 23rd Street, as stated in the report.

According to the report, Drew was running on the 23rd street when he was hit by a red Fiat near the gas station.

Meanwhile, the authorities have mentioned that the Red Fiat driver stopped after the incident. The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated as required by law with the police.
