39-year-old Woman Dead after Pedestrian Crash near Roxy Theater

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA (July 18, 2022) – Early Tuesday Morning, a pedestrian crash on Hammond Street claimed the life of Meghan O’Sullivan.

According to LAPD, at around 12:30 a.m., an SUV traveling near the Roxy Theater fatally struck a female pedestrian. After striking the woman, the SUV also rear-ended a parked vehicle.

Emergency crews responded to the incident and administered first aid. However, despite life-saving efforts, 39-year-old O’Sullivan of West Hollywood died due to the extent of her injuries.

Meanwhile, officials closed down the area around Sunset Boulevard and Hammond Street for cleanup and preliminary duties. The driver of the SUV remained nearby and cooperated with the investigators.
